Microsoft announced on January 9th that Teams Rooms on Windows 10 will cease support on October 14, 2025, with no further functional updates or security patches provided. Teams Rooms on Windows is a solution that offers high-definition video, audio, and content sharing for Microsoft Teams calls and meetings of all sizes, supporting a variety of devices including cameras, microphones, speakers, and displays. This includes not only the Surface Hub series but also products from brands such as Crestron, HP, Lenovo, Logitech, Poly, and Yealink. Microsoft emphasizes the importance of upgrading to Windows 11 for the security, efficiency, and manageability of the Teams Rooms system and has provided a clear upgrade path. However, certain devices like the Lenovo Hub 500 (i5-7500T), HP Slice G2 (i5-7500T), HP Elite Slice (i5-7500T), Yealink NUC – NUC7i5DNKE (i5-7300U), and Crestron Skull Canyon (i7-6770HQ) will not be eligible for the upgrade.
